reflections of my heart.

On Sept.19th I lost my special friend Angel(aka Superkitty) to cancer,I miss her little warm body as she would snuggle next to me,the way she would leap,then run to greet me when she saw me. The way she sat next to me or on my lap as I worked on the computer. i keep looking but she is no longer there, only in my heart and mind. I have lost other furry little friend's as well as some that were drop off and each time one died I cried for them. That made me think of all the abused and abandoned animal's that have no special person in their live's and I shed a tear for them.How lonely and scarey that must be to suffer and die alone never to have felt a loving touch.
I thank God for the good people who do care and open thier heart's and home's to these little one's.God Bless you all

For some unknow reason I started thinking about some of the thing's my Dad taught me while I was growing up.The way he did it was differnt to be sure but I never forgot them.When my sister and I were watching TV our Dad would come up and ask us what we saw,we would tell him what the show was about but that wasn't what he was looking for.He wanted to know what was going on in the background,he kept at it until we could tell him a person was walking in the back ground and a dog was running by.or thier were some people going into a store and someone was feeding the bird's in the park.As I grew up I knew he was teaching us to see beyound what the normal eye see's,to see beyound what a person say's or does as sometime's they are good people having a rough time.
Two of his other favorite's were,If wishes were horse's begger's would be rider's. You can't alway's have what you want or even need so do the best you can with what you have.That was a good lesson.
The other was You made your bed you gotta lay in it. This one took me a while to get.What this ment is I am accountable for what I do,and if I do something wrong I have to take what is due,that they would stand beside me but would not bail me out.
They taught us to see picture's in the cloud's,face's in the wood grain's,to enjoy looking at the star's and firefly's.
They taught me a lot about life before they died. not all of it was good or perhaps even right but they did the very best they could,they taught me how to live and how to die with dignity.
I will alway's be Thankful that they were my folk's.

My computer has been in the shop sence Monday,I just got it hooked up yesterday afternoon.I missed it.What I missed the most was being able to blog and the interaction you have with other people that you don't know but are conneted by commen thread's in our life's. There is a purpose for everything we experince and we can learn and grow from many differnt thing's we go through.
Like the season's of nature are the season's of our life's, we go through spring,summer, fall and winter,I think that I fall in eaither late summer or early fall.In each season I learned what I needed to and some thing's that I wished I haden't,but those very thing,s helped to make me who I am today.The good and the bad of me.Even though I have gone though and seen some very horrible thing,s I wouldn't change them because of what I learned,(even though I would not want to relive some of them.)
As I watch nature and God's creature's great and small I see how all thing's do tie us together in some way or another.

Just wrondering.

Good Morning,
As I sit at my my window I see the bird's going about thier daily task of getting food for themselve's and thier familie's.How busy they are,and how far they must travel to get the bug's that they need to stay alive.And I think about faith,they don't stop and think what if I can't find the food I need,they just go out looking knowing that that they will find it. We know the sun rise's every day even if we can't see it due to the cloud's,yet we find it hard to belive in other thing's just because we can't see it,feel it or touch it. Or because it dosen't happen when we want it to. In many way's we can learn from the animal's and nature.I have much to learn,I hope I am a good student of life.

After the storm.

Hi,
It was very hot today,93 degree's and humid.Just right for a strong storm to form,which it did. We were blessed once again as the worst of it went all around us,In town they have tree;s and power line's down as well as in the town to our north. We lost our power just for a few minute's. To our west and north there were tornado's so I fiqure we were blessed.
A rose breasted gosbeak was outside our screened in deck sitting on a limb,looking in,I felt so sorry for him,hopefully he found a safe place.
Now the storm has passed and it's getting cooler,the air smell's so clean and fresh,Even the bird's sound as if they are enjoying the freshness of the storm.I am also sure the bug's and worm's are easier for them to get.
I like the sound of the rain on the roof,it's a sound that is soothing to the soul.Not only doe's it smell fresher the sound's seem purer somehow.
You know it it so good that people all over the world can have a common bond in thier love of animal's and nature,I think it is great when I hear from all people who share this love.A thread that bond's.

Hello once again,
I wanted to share with you some of the place's in my yard and in town where I sit and think,daydream,hope and pray.I have a big yard but a old small and falling apart mobile home,but at least I have a home in a nice location. Once I was homeless but that's another day's thinking.I am enjoying this day in all it's glory and only want good and joyful thought's there is enough time for saddness,but not today! I hope you enjoy the picture's as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Good afternoon,
As I sit at my desk looking out my window,I think about many differnt thing's.The beauty of the land,tree's deck out in the differnt type of leave's or needle's.Some ever green and some that sleep through the cold winter to rest for the coming of spring.The flower's sharing thier beauty with the world all the while providing food for other form's of life.
The bird's who wake me with thier song's of prise for a new day's dawning and sing me to sleep with thier cooing and calling.This I see every day from my window and I am glad.
