A walk down the lane

Yesterday was one of those days that you wish you had stayed in bed,everything that could go wrong did.
Towards evening I decided to take a walk down the lane and take some pictures. It helped to clear my head and bring some peace to the turmoil deep inside. And life goes on, you just have to remember to take the time to smell the flowers along the way and refresh your soul.

A peaceful Sunday

Good Day,
It's a nice sunny day with a bit of a breeze, I've only been outside to feed the birds and check the plants I planted the other day. Today is a restful day.
As you can see I have pictures of the kittens,they are getting big and are starting to get around a bit more now.
I am closer to getting a horse and that is kind of exciting. It is something that is worth waiting for that's for sure.

A chilly and damp day

Hello,
It is a damp and chilly morning, the cats want the door open and I dont. Since I am the only one who can open the door I have won this battle.
Yesterday I mowed the lawn...With the push mower again,the key I ordered doesn't fit my rider, good excirse I guess.
In a few minintes I will have to take the time to fill up the bird feeders and that means I will have to put some food out for my "cat nieces" from next door. They get fed very well but have had their litters so they tell me that they are extra hungry. So I put some dry food out for them. One of them brought me a mouse. I thought that was really nice of her.
Well I should get going as I am sure the birds are running low on their sunflower seeds.

Another Day

Hi,
Another bright , sunny day has come and is going, another road trip ie: shopping therapy trip. Tomorrow Peg and I go on another road trip but this time Its to go and have a MRI done on my shoulder, I am sure we will still enjoy the ride and sights . Tomorrow is also Kentucky Oaks day, it is all about the fillies. Then on Saturday the Kentucky Derby , very cool.
The other day I went with Vince to the big barn and took a couple pictures of his new stud horse. I am going to sign off as I want to give my Mom a call. Will see you all later.

Partly Sunny

Good Morning,
Today May 1st is to be party sunny with a chance of storms after five pm. Today I have to finnish cutting the grass with my push mower as I still cannot find my keys to the rider.I ordered new keys from the company that I bought the mower from but surprise they dont work. So as I start cutting yesterday I am feeling partly sunny myself. The cloudy side of things is knowing I'm going to be hurting after I'm done but the sunny side is how pretty it's going to look when it is finished. I will have to try and get it done today before the storm.
But really isn't that like our life's ? We have sunny days,cloudly days,days that are filled with stormy torment. We grab on the whatever we need to to get through the storms so that when the sunny days are back we enjoy them to the fullest because we have weathered the storms.
On the plus side keeping the grass cut helps to keep the snakes away from the house.
